Dr. Rashmi Shrish: Best Gynecologist in Nepal
Dr. Rashmi Shrish is a senior gynecologist and specialist in advanced infertility and endoscopic surgeries. Dr. Shrish completed her MBBS from Nepal Medical College (NMCTH) & postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from TUTH. She then undertook a further sub-specialty fellowship in Advanced Infertility and Endoscopic Surgeries at the Grant Medical Foundation Ruby Hall Clinic IVF and Endoscopy Centre, Pune, India. Dr. Shrish has obtained further academic qualifications, including a Fellowship in Cosmetic Gynecology from the American Board of Cosmetic Gynecology (ABCG) in Dubai in 2021. She is currently fulfilling her duties as chairman of the Angel Fertility Clinic.
Her career as a doctor started as a Medical Officer at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur, in 2003. She then served as a Senior Medical Officer at Emergency Department of TUTH, followed by the Hospital of Advanced Medical & Surgery (HAMS) until 2006. Dr. Shrish holds a gold medal for her academic excellence in her postgraduate medical degree from TUTH in Gynecology & Obstetrics (Obs). She worked as Consultant Gynecologist at Sankarapur Hospital, Nobel Hospital, & Civil Service Hospital from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Shrish has also been associated with Vayodha Hospital, Star Hospital, and Sumeru Hospital since 2010.
Dr. Shrish is extremely passionate about continuing education and learning about new advances in her field. She is a regular delegate at local, national, and international scientific conferences and has chaired many of them. These academic commitments allow Dr. Rashmi to be at the leading edge of the latest research, which she applies to her clinical practice. Impressively, she has authored recent studies on the correlation between the number of mature oocytes retrieved and the live birth rate in IVF/ICSI cycles.
She is currently involved as a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Nepal Society of Obstetrician and Gynecologist (NESOG), the Fertility Society of Nepal (FESON), the Indian Fertility Society (IFS), and many more. She is also the current Joint Secretary for FESON.
Dr. Shrish co-founded NIFLC Maya IVF in the year 2013 and Angel Fertility Clinic in the year 2020 to provide patients with quality infertility treatment.
